Telos Publishing Open for Submissions
posted by andy on Wednesday March 13, @11:53AM
News "As announced at the recent Gallifrey convention in Los Angeles, Telos Publishing, publishers of the Doctor Who Novellas, is now open for unsolicited submissions for the Doctor Who range and for general horror and fantasy novellas, series and other projects."

'We are great supporters of finding previously unpublished writers,' explains David J Howe, publisher at Telos. 'In the late eighties, Virgin Publishing took a chance with me and this resulted in over a decade of successful titles. We want to try and repay that faith by finding writers with new and interesting ideas, and the talent to see them through. Telos Publishing may not be a large publisher, but we are committed to producing books of high quality, and want to find authors willing to work with us on a variety of projects.'

Current plans are for the Telos DOCTOR WHO Novellas to increase in frequency to six titles during DOCTOR WHO's 40th anniversary year 2003. 'We want to bring out some challenging and top-notch titles,' says Howe, 'but if we can find some talented new authors with some original and innovative ideas, then we are quite prepared to publish more books as a result.'

Obviously Telos Publishing can't promise to accept all, or indeed any, of the submissions they receive, but all will be given careful consideration and feedback.

Submission guidelines are available from the Telos site (www.telos.co.uk)
