China Mieville's fourth novel (and third in the New Crobuzon series) IRON COUNCIL was published last month. He will be touring next week to Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham. Your editor saw him chat with Pat Cadigan last Monday. He is definitely one to be seen to be believed. --

GLASGOW - Tuesday 19th October at 6.30pm China Mieville will be reading from his new novel IRON COUNCIL and taking questions from the audience at Waterstones,153-157 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G2 3EW. Tickets free from store

LEEDS - Wednesday 20th October at 7pm China Mieville will be reading from his new novel IRON COUNCIL and taking questions from the audience at Borders, 94-96 Briggate, Leeds LS1. Free event

BIRMINGHAM - Thursday 21st October at 6.30pm China Mieville will be reading from his new novel IRON COUNCIL and taking questions from the audience at Waterstones 24-26 High Street, Birmingham B4. Tickets 3UKP redeemable against purchase of the book

Just to add that China will be in Bookmarks bookshop in Bloomsbury London on the 9th November. Event will start at 6:30pm, is free with refreshments available.
