NORTHAMPTON, MA., August 21, 2004 - Massachusetts native and author Janice Tucker has published her first novel, "Fruit Fly". Set in the picturesque city of Northampton, Massachusetts, "Fruit Fly" takes you on a satirical romp through the lives and relationships of a middle aged woman and her best friend, a gay man in his thirties. "Fruit Fly" is a delightful glimpse into an esoteric friendship, which brings Northampton and its cast of characters to life.

Tucker, who has had a passion for writing since childhood, currently resides in Massachusetts and has two grown children. Unison Media Group will be publishing her next novel, a historical romance entitled "The Mist Of Laurel Glen" in late 2004.
